How words are counted
Every plan is measured in words, because that is what you actually use. We count the words in the text you submit, using the same counter you see under the input box, so there are no surprises.
- Input words only. A 400-word draft uses 400 words, even if the result is a little longer or shorter.
- One allowance for every tool. The humanizer, paraphrasing tool, AI rewriter and grammar checker all draw from the same balance.
- Failed runs are refunded. If a run fails on our side, the words go straight back to your balance.
- Uploading is free. Reading a .docx or .pdf file and counting words never uses your allowance; only the text you process does.
Which plan is right for you?
Free suits occasional use: a few emails, a short essay section or a product description each day. Basic covers students who work on a few essays a month. Pro adds our advanced humanizer model and suits regular blogging, client work and coursework. Ultra is built for long articles and papers, and Unlimited is for people who write every day and do not want to count words.

How are words counted?
We count the words in the text you submit, not the words we send back. One run of 300 words uses 300 words from your allowance, whichever tool you use.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. You get 500 words a day without an account or a card, and 1,000 bonus words when you create a free account. The daily allowance resets at midnight UTC and is shared across all tools.
Do yearly plans get all their words at once?
No. Yearly plans are billed once a year and receive their monthly words every month, counted from the day you subscribed. Paying yearly costs half of the monthly price, which is the same as getting six months free.
What does fair use mean on Unlimited?
Unlimited is meant for one person's own writing, with no monthly word quota. To stop automated abuse, it is capped at 300,000 words per monthly cycle, which is far more than people write themselves. If you reach the cap, contact us.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, from your account page through the secure Stripe billing portal. An upgrade starts right away: you pay the prorated difference and get the new plan's words immediately. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.
What happens if a run fails?
If a run fails on our side, the words are returned to your allowance automatically. You only use words for results you actually receive.
Do unused words roll over?
No. Plan words start fresh every monthly cycle. If you regularly run out, a larger plan is usually the cheaper option.
Do you offer refunds?
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a payment if you have used fewer than 500 words since that payment. The refund policy has the details.
